Jim Shelton has served as a member of our board since October 2020. He currently serves as the Chief Investment and Impact Officer at the Blue Meridian Partners, as well as a Partner of Amandla Enterprises. He previously served as the President of Education for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and, prior to that, as the President and Chief Impact Officer of 2U. From 2009 to 2015, he held various roles at the U.S. Department of Education, most recently as Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer. Jim holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Morehouse College and an M.S. in Education and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
